Must-Visit Events in London This Autumn

London is a city where no day is similar to the one before. There are multiple events taking place daily, be it an exhibition, a concert or a fair. With so many things going on, it is difficult to pinpoint which ones absolutely cannot be missed. We made a brief list of London events to attend this fall, so get your schedule and pen ready.

Proms in the Hyde Park

September 8

After a month of fabulous performances, the BBC Proms finally come to the end. The final concert to close the event will be held open-air in the Hyde Park and will feature a host of musical starts. This year the traditional Last Night anthems will be performed by a variety of bands, including the BBC Concert Orchestra, and it’s not a view to be missed. If you’ve been to at least one of the Proms, paying a visit to the closing ceremony is an absolute must.

London Fashion Week Festival

20 September – 23 September

London Fashion Week Festival is an absolute must-attend to every fashionista. It is  a great opportunity to learn more about high fashion and to purchase a handful of designer goods before anyone else got them. London Fashion Week Festival is a consumer part of London Fashion Week, therefore suitable for people who are not total fashion gurus.

BFI London Film Festival

10 October – 21 October

 

With the movie industry as big as it is, it is difficult to find a person not interested in films. However, for those with an extreme passion towards movies and actors, BFI London Film festival is essential. At this event you will be given a chance to see the world’s best new firms first and to catch a glimpse of your idols in real life.

Bonfire Night

5 November

Guy Fawkes Day is significant for its breathtaking fireworks and bonfires. Although not an event on its own, the Bonfire Night comes with a plenty of events and activities on the day, each of which will include astonishing firework of display. Some may see it as a family event, yet at Ariella we believe it is a great occasion to gussy up!
